COMPLIMENTARY CONSULTATION :

The more we plan your children's portrait and families in advance, the more successful your finished portrait will be. A consultation before your child's or family portrait session will help me understand your preferences and concerns. Together, we will decide on the location, props, clothing and mood that is best for your portrait.

WHAT TO WEAR :

( keep it simple ) remember your the subject and the focus should be on you and not your clothing, avoid busy prints, strips, logos, and characters ( on children's clothing ) as these distract from the subjects beauty. When dressing for a family or group session it's best to keep everyone dressed as similar as possable for example jeans or khakis with coorinating colored shirts give a casual, yet classic look to your portrait.

WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE :

Sessions may be scheduled at the location of your choice, that might be in your home, beach, park, backyard, or in my studio, always have a backup location due to weather.

If we are shooting outdoors the best lighting falls in early morning ( before 10:00am ) and the late afternoon ( after 3:00pm ) I shoot using both natual and studio light.

HOW LONG IS THE SESSION :

The session will usually last between 1 - 2 hours. Then I will talk with you about the kind of photographs you want to have taken prior to the photo session.

PROOFS :

Approximalety 3-4 days after photo session, you will then recieve a phone call or notice that your proofs are in.

IMAGE PREPERATION :

I choose the best images from your photo session to edit, and touch ups are done through photoshop on finnished portraits. Images are sent out to a profeesional photo lab this may take up to two weeks
