SENIOR PORTRAITS :

For most people, their high school or college Senior Portrait is the last fine portrait they have taken for a long time. It's a beautiful way to honor this special passage in your life and a beautiful thing to do for your family and friends. Thank-you for considering Daisy Photography for your senior portrait.

PREPARING FOR YOUR PORTRAIT :

Your choice of locations - beach, park, or one of your favorite locations, in studio or both. You might want your School Portrait with your favorite sport, you could be formally dressed or you might feel that jeans and a sweater would bring out the real you.

WHAT TO WEAR :

Make sure your hair is the way you like it, (don't try any new hairstyles-stay with the natual you). bring three differant changes of clothing. I want your face to be the focal point of the portrait, so solid colors are best. Avoid large prints and bright colors this would draw attention away from your face. I recommend long sleeves for your more formal outfits, coorinate your oufits from head to toe, neckties-jewlery-shoes, since I may take some full length poses, darker clothing tends to minimize body size, light tones tend to emphasize body size. White or light clothing generally looks best against a white or light background , or in between (mid tones) usually works best. Keep pants/skirts darker than the tops, is usually a good idea. Most important of all, choose clothing you like!!! bring in several clothing options from which to choose.

THE SITTING :

Just relax and be yourself - my job is to create the posing and lighting and to make sure the exposeure is perfect for that moment, you may bring in your own special props (musical instruments or sporting gear or even your pet.

THE VIEWING :

Your portrait choices may be ready to view in the studio as soon as two hours after your session (depending on my scheduling on the day of your appointment). You will be able to see the range of expressions and poses I created, these previews are still only rough drafts, though, your finished portraits will be fully retouched and beautiful printed.

PRINTING AND FINISHING :

I send my images to a Professional Photo Lab.

Getting all your images on a disk, there are so many

different poses it might be hard to choose one. With (PICTURE ON A DISK' ) option you can take home ALL the images I showed you. These don't include all the retouching that goes into your finished portraits.This is a great way to enjoy all the variety of expressions and poses taken during your session.
